@s_mattison: Here's the answer, obtained after calling customer support. Open the app. Tap on the specific card you'd like to activate. Scroll down to account services. Choose "Show More". In the new options that appear, Select the option that allows you to Verify Receipt Of Your Cards.
This is the question that comes up for the Google search "How do I verify receipt of my card on the app". When receiving a new card, Chase sends you a letter with the card glued do it, which says "3 options to verify receipt of your card: 1- use the Chase mobile app" and no more details. I'm expecting more details.
