Credit One Address Changes & Your Credit Report
Credit One reports your address to all three of the major credit bureaus. The credit bureaus include each of your residential addresses on file as they’re reported by creditors. Be aware that if you don’t update your address on your Credit One credit card, you may have a hard time securing additional loans or lines of credit, as lenders will not issue credit to an address not associated with your credit report.
Additionally, when Credit One has your current address on file, it reduces the risk of account statements and other personal banking information arriving at your old address and being used to commit fraud or identity theft. So, it’s important to update your address with Credit One as soon as there are any changes.
