To notify Credit One of travel plans, call the number on the back of your credit card and inform the customer service representative of your destinations and travel dates. You are not required to let Credit One customer service know about travel plans, though it’s a good idea to do so. If you don’t set a travel notification and charges appear on your card from places you don’t normally visit, it’s possible that Credit One will put a hold on your account to prevent fraud.
How to Set Up a Credit One Travel Notice by Phone
- Call Credit One customer service at 1 (877) 825-3242 or at the number on the back of your credit card.
- Inform the customer service representative that you’d like to set a travel notification and tell them the travel destinations and dates.
- Confirm your contact information with the representative so they can notify you if they detect any suspicious activity.
You can set travel notifications for both domestic and international trips. If you forget to set a travel notice and your account gets blocked, you can ask Credit One customer service to unblock your credit card by calling the number on the back of your card. Once you confirm with Credit One that the suspicious transactions are not fraudulent, they will remove the hold on your account and you will be able to make purchases on your card again.

While Credit One Bank does not explicitly express this requirement, it is always a good idea to give your issuer a call and let them know of your travel plans. This way, you can avoid the inconvenience of having your card blocked whilst traveling due to fraud suspicions. Call Credit One Bank at 1-877-825-3242.

There are no longer any live customer service reps available at that telephone number, and there are no other options on the website or via telephone to give them a travel notice. Do I actually have to send a hard copy letter? There don't seem to be any other options.
