Your Credit One account may be suspended because you haven’t used the card recently or due to missed payments. There are a number of other reasons why Credit One might suspend an account, though.
Why Your Credit One Account May Be Suspended
- Inactivity
- Routine missed payments
- Exceeding the credit limit
- Fraudulent activity
To find out the exact reason why your account was suspended, you should contact customer service at (877) 825-3242. A representative should also be able to confirm what you need to do to remove the suspension from your account.
Ultimately, it's worth noting that Credit One isn’t required to alert you that they’re suspending your account. According to the Credit One cardmember agreement, they “may cancel, suspend or not renew your card, account, or access to the credit line at any time and for any reason without notice.”
