Discover has tens of different design and color options for their cards. You can request a replacement card color or design at any time, no need to wait until your card is lost or expired. If you’re not a current Discover cardholder, your options for card design will be limited for a new card. The full range of design and color options are only available for replacement cards. Once you have a Discover card, though, you can change the card color and design as frequently as you want.
With so many options, you can choose from just about any color under the sun, as well as a huge selection of different designs and scenes (though you can’t use a photo or own). To choose a new color for your replacement Discover card, simply log into your account online and select “Choose a Card Design.” All of your color and design options will appear, and you can choose whichever you please. Your new card should then arrive in 4-6 business days. Your old card will still be valid, too, so if you don’t plan on using it, be sure to deactivate it. You can deactivate a Discover card by calling 1-800-347-2683.

You can only have up to 2 Discover credit card accounts at the same time. To get your 2nd Discover card, you must have had the 1st card open for at least 1 year. Your 2 Discover cards can be different or the same in most cases. But you can only have one student card and you can only get a second secured card if the first one has already graduated to an unsecured account....
