No, Amex does not offer AAA discounts. Amex cards generally offer rewards with high earning rates on popular spending categories, along with high welcome bonuses for new cardholders. So even though they don’t offer AAA discounts, American Express cards can still be a good choice if you have good credit or better.
If you’re looking for credit cards with rewards geared towards AAA purchases, check out the AAA Travel Credit Card or the AAA Rewards Credit Card, instead. While they don’t necessarily offer discounts, they can still reward cardholders with 1 - 5% cash back and redemption bonuses on AAA purchases.
