Yes, McDonald’s does take credit cards. More specifically, customers can pay with credit cards from the four major networks when issued by a U.S. Bank, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards. Credit cards can also be used when ordering through the McDonald’s mobile app, as well as third-party delivery apps.
Other Payment Methods Accepted at McDonald’s
In addition to credit cards, McDonald’s accepts digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay, Arch gift cards, debit cards, and cash. Payments with PayPal and Venmo are also available through the McDonald’s mobile app. Just keep in mind that some of these payment methods, such as Arch cards, cannot be used for mobile orders.
You’ll always be able to use a credit card, though. So, it may be worth checking out our editors’ picks for the best credit cards for restaurants and food delivery available right now on the market.
