Home Depot® Credit Card Requirements
- Basic application info: You will have to provide personal information, including your full name, phone number, Social Security number, and birthdate.
- Age requirement: Must be at least 18 years old. If you're under 21 years old, you must prove you are independent or provide a co-signer.
- Residency: You must be a U.S. resident with a physical address in one of the 50 U.S. states or Washington D.C. Note that P.O. Box addresses are not accepted.
- Credit requirement: At least fair credit (640+ credit score recommended).
- Financial info: Including monthly rent or mortgage, residence status (own/rent), and annual net income (income after taxes).
If you apply for the Home Depot® Credit Card online, it usually takes between 7 to 10 business days to get approved. If you get approved, you will typically receive your new Home Depot® Credit Card in the mail within two weeks.
