The American Express Platinum Card® complimentary 4th night benefit gives cardholders a complimentary night when they book a stay of at least 4 consecutive nights at select Fine Hotels + Resorts® properties. Platinum Card® members can book their stays at participating properties through American Express Travel®.
The booking can be paid for with a Platinum Card®, an American Express Business Platinum card, or another American Express card in the American Express Platinum Card® cardmember’s name. Also, there will be an option to use points to pay for some or all the hotel booking at check-out.
How the American Express Platinum Card® Complimentary 4th Night Benefit Works
You need an American Express Platinum Card® consumer or business card to be eligible.
A Platinum Card® or American Express Business Platinum card is required to book stays with the complimentary 4th night promotion at Fine Hotels + Resorts properties. However, you can pay for the booking with a different American Express card as long as the card is in the American Express Platinum Card® cardmember’s name and they are traveling on the itinerary being booked.
It’s limited to participating locations from the Fine Hotels + Resorts program.
Keep in mind that many complimentary 4th night promotions are for a limited time, and not every location in the Fine Hotels + Resorts portfolio offers a complimentary 4th night benefit. Be sure to review the terms for your desired hotel before you book your stay.
You need to book at least 4 consecutive nights.
You must book a stay of at least 4 consecutive nights to get a complimentary 4th night. The complimentary night will be reflected at the time of booking, and any taxes and fees for the complimentary night will be removed at check-out.
Similar promotions are available from time to time.
It’s worth noting that there may be offers for a complimentary 3rd, 5th, or 6th night, depending on the hotel. To find out if a specific hotel is eligible, visit the Fine Hotels + Resorts website.
