You don't get a free Costco membership with any Citi credit card. While the Costco Anywhere Visa® Card by Citi and the Costco Anywhere Visa® Business Card by Citi have no annual fees, you still need to pay the yearly Costco membership fee. Costco Credit Card users do not receive any discounts on membership fees.
Costco Annual Membership Tiers
- Gold Star Membership: Two membership cards, valid at Costco warehouses worldwide and the Costco.com website. $65 annual membership fee.
- Business Membership: Two membership cards, valid at Costco warehouses worldwide and the Costco.com website. $65 annual membership fee. Add extra cardholders for $60 each.
- Executive Membership: Two membership cards, valid at Costco warehouses worldwide and the Costco.com website. $130 annual membership fee. Also offers 2% in rewards (up to $1,250 earned) on eligible Costco purchases each year, plus extra perks.
How to Get a Costco Membership
You can sign up for a Costco membership either online or over the phone at (800) 774-2678. Alternatively, you can also sign up at any Costco warehouse. Just note that the issuer can close your Costco Credit Card if you cancel your Costco membership.
