I don't believe that Merrick Bank is legit due to the customer service reading scripts and lying on the phone to the customers. I have been told that Merrick bank is no longer using a visa and it will now be MasterCard, the card is in the mail and it never arrived for about 7 months now. I continue to pay the bill online but since the end of December, the card is not usable. when you swipe it to purchase something, it says declined. they keep saying, the card is on the way. I believe that this is a scam and the company went belly up! I no longer will make any more payments on the card because the agreement is ruined. they Breached the contract. you cant use the card for purchases, only for online bill payments. guys, it's a scam. the call center is just a bunch of incompetent uneducated people who are reading a dishonest script to the callers. I am done, I will get another credit card from a legit company!
