Yes, there is a Chase Sapphire Reserve Silvercar partnership that allows you to get special deals like discounts and upgrades. You’ll also get bonus points for making Silvercar rentals since they count as travel purchases, and you won’t have to buy Silvercar’s insurance policy. Chase Sapphire Reserve already has you covered with rental car insurance.
Here are all the Chase Sapphire Reserve Silvercar benefits:
- Special privileges at Silvercar. Just for paying for a rental with Chase Sapphire Reserve, you’ll get access to discounts, free upgrades and other promotions at Silvercar locations. You can always see what’s available by logging into Chase Ultimate Rewards, clicking “Travel Benefits” and finding “Special Car Rental Privileges.”
- Bonus point earning. Silvercar rentals count as a Chase Sapphire Reserve travel expense. That means you’ll earn 10 points / $1 spent on travel.
- Rental car insurance. When you pay for an eligible rental with Chase Sapphire Reserve and decline the agency’s insurance plan, Chase’s coverage takes effect. Chase will pay out up to $75,000 if that car is stolen or has collision damage. This benefit applies to rentals of 31 or fewer consecutive days. Most cars are included, but there is a list of exceptions, including trucks, motorcycles, RVs and a few others. Be sure to read your benefits guide for the full details.
As you can see, the Chase Sapphire Reserve Silvercar deal is loaded with perks. You’ll benefit from the car rental insurance without registering. But to get the other perks, you must first validate your card’s eligibility and register for a Silvercar account online.
You might save money with special discounts, and you’ll get extra points on each Silvercar purchase. And as long as you rent an eligible car, you don’t have to worry about paying for accidents up to the covered amount. These perks aren’t limited to Silvercar, either. You also get them with Avis and National Car Rental.
