The Mercury Credit Card credit limit is around $500 to start, according to forum posts, and some cardholders report limits as high as $5,000. First Bank & Trust Company does not disclose any specific Mercury Credit Card credit limit information in the card’s terms, though.
Mercury Credit Card credit limits depend on each applicant’s overall creditworthiness, for the most part. People with the most income and the best credit scores are generally offered the highest starting credit limits.
That said, the Mercury Credit Card credit limit that you receive upon approval isn’t necessarily permanent. You can ask to get a credit limit increase by calling the First Bank & Trust Company customer service number on the back of your card, but it’s best not to ask more than once a year. First Bank & Trust Company will also evaluate your account periodically to determine whether you are eligible for a credit limit increase. Paying on time and keeping your credit utilization low are key for getting unsolicited credit line increases with First Bank & Trust Company.

Love this card started in 2022 with 4k and now it's 6200 and I am approaching my next upgrade in 3 months. This card helped to pave the way for my credit resurgence and rebuild in 02. I now have 4 five figure cards from Amex and Navy Fed and just got the First Tech Choice Mastercard before exceeded the data point limit. It's a great credit builder that has blossomed into my 2% catch all for retail. I seldom let it go over 10% utilization.
I started with 5000 on a mercury card. Asked them to raise it 5 months later, it's now 6400. ZERO COMPLAINTS
I love my Mercury Card. On 7/11/23 I started with $4,000 credit limit, they automatically increased to $4,550 on 11/22/23, and today they surprised me with a $6,000 credit limit. WooHoo! Hats off to Mercury! You also get 2% off of every purchase anywhere, anytime. :)
