The most elite Amex card is the Centurion® Card from American Express because it’s an invite-only credit card that is rumored to have a $10,000 initiation fee and a $5,000 annual fee. Supposed perks of the Centurion® Card from American Express are a very flexible personal concierge and elite status at many different hotel chains.
Here's what you need to get the Centurion® Card from American Express:
If you want to be considered for this card, fill out and submit the form on Amex’s invitation request page. Filling out this form won’t grant you an automatic invite, however, as there are many other rumored Amex “Black Card” eligibility requirements. You’ll likely still need to spend and pay off hundreds of thousands of dollars on another Amex card each year and have an annual income of at least $1 million to be invited to apply.
The Centurion® Card from American Express is out of reach for most people, but Amex does offer other elite credit cards such as the American Express Platinum Card®. Anyone can apply for the Platinum Card®, though it does come with a $895 annual fee and requires at least good credit for approval. Still, Platinum Card® has many of the same perks as the Centurion® Card from American Express, so you can get luxury benefits without paying thousands of dollars in annual fees.
