There are quite a few unsecured credit cards that you can get with a score of 630, which is considered bad credit. One good example is the Credit One Bank® Platinum Visa® for Rebuilding Credit. This card comes with a credit line of at least $300 and offers 1% cash back on gas and grocery purchases, as well as 1% back on mobile phone, internet, cable and satellite TV services. However, the card charges an annual fee of $75 intro 1st yr, $99 after.
There are other unsecured cards, too, that are worth considering if you have a credit score of 630.
Some Notable Unsecured Cards For a 630 Credit Score
Unsecured credit cards for bad credit are, generally speaking, quite expensive. Most of them charge quite hefty annual fees, with some of them even charging monthly and processing fees. If you have a credit score of 630 and are looking to rebuild your credit, then your best option is to apply for a secured credit card.
Most secured cards don’t charge annual fees, and have higher approval odds. While the prospect of paying a security deposit is unappealing, keep in mind that this deposit will be refunded to you in full if you close your card with no unpaid balance. The fees you pay for an unsecured card, however, are non-refundable.
