Yes, you can use your U.S. Bank Altitude® Go Visa® Secured Card instantly after approval by adding it to a virtual wallet via the U.S. Bank mobile app. This can only work if you’re an existing U.S. Bank customer and you are enrolled in online banking.
However, if this is your first U.S. Bank account, you’ll have to wait for the card to arrive in the mail before you can start using it, since enrolling in online banking requires a card or account number.
How to Use Your U.S. Bank Altitude® Go Visa® Secured Card Instantly After Approval
- Log in to your account via the U.S. Bank mobile app.
- Navigate to “Manage cards.”
- Choose the U.S. Bank Altitude® Go Visa® Secured Card and select “Add to digital wallets.”
- Select the digital wallet you want to use and follow the prompts to add your card.
By adding your U.S. Bank Altitude® Go Visa® Secured Card to a digital wallet, you’ll be able to use it for online and in-person purchases before it arrives in the mail.
If you’re not an existing U.S. Bank customer, you’ll have to wait for the card to arrive, which typically takes 7-10 business days after approval. If you need the card sooner, you may be able to expedite the card’s delivery by calling customer service at (800) 285-8585 immediately after you’re approved.
