How to Book a Hotel Room Using United Miles
- Visit the United hotel platform: Go to United's hotel booking portal and sign in to your MileagePlus account.
- Search for Hotels: Enter your destination, travel dates, and any other relevant information, then select the "Use MileagePlus miles" option and click "Search."
- Choose a Hotel: Browse through the list of available hotels and click on the one that fits your needs.
- Select Your Room: Pick the room type you prefer and click "Reserve."
- Complete Your Booking: Follow the prompts to complete the booking process. Provide any required traveler details and pay any applicable taxes or fees.
- Get Confirmation: Once the booking is complete, you'll receive a confirmation email with your hotel reservation details. You can also view your itinerary in your MileagePlus account.
You can redeem your miles for stays at over 400,000 hotels worldwide, including major brands like Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt and Wyndham, as well as smaller boutique properties. However, using your miles to book hotel stays typically gets you less value per mile compared to using them for flights.
