You can transfer Avios between seven participating airline loyalty programs at a 1:1 ratio, with no fees. You just need to have an active account with each airline you want to move Avios to and make sure your name, date of birth, and email address match across your accounts. Transfers cannot be made to airlines outside the Avios ecosystem.
Participating Airlines for Avios Transfers
- British Airways Executive Club
- Iberia Plus
- Aer Lingus AerClub
- Qatar Airways Privilege Club
- Finnair Plus
- Vueling Club
- Loganair Loyalty
You can start by setting up a British Airways Executive Club, Iberia Plus, or Aer Lingus AerClub account first. This makes the process easier, as these programs integrate with Avios.com and are generally the simplest to manage.
How to Transfer Avios Between Accounts
1. Log in and select “Transfer Avios”
Use your British Airways Executive Club, Iberia Plus, or Aer Lingus AerClub account credentials to log in via Avios.com. Then click the “Transfer Avios” option from the top menu.
2. Choose the source program
Select the program you want to transfer Avios from and click “Next.” You may be prompted to enable two-factor authentication and sign in to the corresponding airline account.
3. Choose the destination program
Select the partner airline you want to transfer Avios to. You may again be asked to enable two-factor authentication and log in to the airline account.
4. Complete the transfer
Enter the number of Avios you want to transfer (there is no minimum required) and click “Next.” Review the details on the next page, then click “Transfer” to complete the transaction. Your Avios should appear after a few moments.
Keep in mind that once accounts are linked, they cannot be unlinked. Make sure that your personal details are correct and that you wish to link the accounts before completing the process.
