When you earn Gold status in a calendar year, you keep it until the end of the next year. To keep your status after that, you’ll need to meet the required nights, stays, or base points earning again. Alternatively, you can automatically get Gold status status if you get approved for the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card.
