How do I get access to the Amex Centurion Lounge?
To get access to the Amex Centurion® Lounge, you must own an eligible American Express card. Guests (up to two) of cardholders can also get into the Centurion Lounges, either at no additional cost or in exchange of a per-visit rate, depending on the card. Keep in mind that these cards come with hefty annual fees, though. For instance, American Express Platinum Card® has a $895 annual fee, the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card charges $650 per year and the Centurion® Card from American Express has an annual fee of $5,000.
If those annual fees weren't high enough, the Centurion® Card from American Express is available by invitation only, so you can't apply for it. You can apply for other Amex cards, like the Platinum Card®, but you will need good credit or better to be eligible. Once you have the Platinum Card®, you can work toward gaining an invitation for the Centurion® Card from American Express or nominate yourself for one.
