Card is great for non-Citgo purchases at tire shops and repair centers. Otherwise, the card is horrible! They closed my account for inactivity with no warning after 7 years. Don't get the card; it's not worth the hassle at a 29.99% interest rate.

My Citgo Awards card is good till 2020 and I still have a good amount available. I\'ve had it since 2017 and I used it last week but today I handed the attendant my card and he said that these cards are no longer being accepted by any Citgo gas stations any more and that they are now separate, so I did not get my gas even though they still had the Citgo sign. I called the Synchrony bank and they had no Idea as to why they are not accepting these cards.

Citgo gas card is one of the worst gas cards you can have! If you want a Great ⛽ card get a Mobil Chevron,Exxon or a Shell credit card! Don\'t get a Citgo credit card. I had friends who wanted to get a Citgo credit card and I told them don\'t. They were glad they listened to me.

Had a $300 limit, i use it once a week or so, or when im low on cash for gas. Always pay off the whole balance. I look today and my limit is dropped to $70. Never had a late payment. Never maxed it out. Never used more than maybe $20 at a time. I also dont know why i bothered with the card to start because there arent any near me. Just was glad i had a synchrony approved card but ill be closing it asap.

The Citgo gas card is new to me, but i have had to call their customer service team about my account and they are some of the nastest people i have ever talk to. They talk to customers like we are nothing, They act as though we are bothering them for calling. At this point the gas card its self seems fair but not the best or not the worst either. At this point i will keep it for a while and avoid calling customers service for anything..Hoping that the bank demands higher quality customer service soon.

So far, I haven't been able to access the card online. I buy gas every day, so getting $.10 is worth it, if just for the first three months. At the end of the week I send a payment. Of course I had to call CS to get any kind of mailing address. Sure hope it's the right one.

This card is questionable. The CITGO gas card seems to have a few flaws with it compared to some of the more accessible ones out there. The main draw to it is the high APR compared to many other cards on the market. There is also little incentive to try this card, with the lack of initial reward bonuses or some form of special intro rate, which could be overlooked if the CITGO Gas Card had more going for it. The minor bonus of .05cents a gallon isn't too bad, but most of this card has lower end draws compared to other gas cards and other credit cards in general. With the little this card has to offer for people of any money range, I couldn't honestly think of a reason to get it.

CITGO Gas Card has the 5 cents per gallon which is alright and pretty decent for a gas card. If you shop with citgo, i guess thats pretty good but the big downfall is the steep APR. 25% is like the upper limit for every other credit card out there, but this is just the only APR. Thats really high and pretty much makes you wonder, if you use this card for the money back, are you actually saving with that high of an APR? Citgo definitely needs to get a card with a lower APR in this day and age to make their card worth it.

The main draw of the Citgo Gas Card would be the .05 per gallon that you earn in rewards but that's a lower reward than competing gas companies or stations offer. The incredibly high APR sits at 24.99% and should rightfully scare away most people from getting this card. There is no introductory rate to off-set the high APR, either, so it's 24.99% from the very first time you use it. If, for some reason, you prefer Citgo gas stations to all others then by all means apply for it, but there is no other reason to even consider this card when making your decision. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone in my family or even people that I don't like, most likely.
