Very spammy and scammy. If you get paperless bills they don’t email you your bill or remind you when it’s due. But you get marketing emails daily from LOFT about 40 percent off, 50% percent off, etc. They only care about selling their stuff to you. Yes it’s true you are responsible for your bills but they don’t make it easy for you. They are of no help and they don’t care. They just want your money. They have no problem charging you a late fee $35 for paying a bill 1 or 2 days late. No grace period. And the customer service representative lied to me. She told me to wait until the new year in January to get the late fee removed because there was already a late fee removed on my account 5 months prior... both times was the same “paperless” issue. I called back in January to ask to get the late fee removed to find out from “Alicia” that she doesn’t know why the customer service representative told me that it would be removed the new calendar year in January because they can only remove one late fee every 18 months. I don’t know why that representative lied to me, either. Alicia wouldn’t even give me a coupon code or gift certificate for $35. There was nothing she would do for me. That’s not my fault. Long story short, I paid off my bill in full immediately and I will close my account and not shop at LOFT again. I would rather spend my money elsewhere.
I made a lot of purchases with other vendors and never have any issue paying bills on time thanks to autopay. I finally had the courage to cancel the credit card today and will never shop at Loft, AnnTaylor and their affiliates ever again. I will take my wallet and support other vendors that actually care about their customers.
Moreover, this cc doesn't have a lot of perks and very limited toward AnnTaylor/Loft purchases. Open other cards instead.
