Both WalletHub and Credit Karma offer a free plan, unlike Quicken Simplifi. WalletHub’s free account lets you make a budget using your choice of five different budgeting templates, helps you create a debt payoff plan, and gives you a financial timeline so you can view a summary of important financial alerts, among other features. Credit Karma’s free account lets you sync your financial accounts for automatic tracking and gives you monthly insights into your spending.
If you want more functionality, both WalletHub and Quicken offer a premium subscription. Credit Karma does not offer a premium plan with extra budgeting features, and the features it does have are very limited compared to WalletHub’s free plan since it does not give you the ability to make a budget or set savings goals. These features are both available for free on WalletHub. This is why WalletHub wins in the cost category.
