Genesis Financial Solutions
Genesis Financial Solutions was established in 2001 by a group of experienced consumer financial services experts focused on originating, acquiring and servicing consumer loans. After the financial crisis of 2008, the leadership team recognized an unmet demand for consumer credit among individuals with less-than-perfect credit, or with limited credit experience, and diversified into non-prime consumer lending.
Genesis entered the private-label second-look finance business in 2011, and in 2016 surpassed $1 billion in credit originated. Our private-label credit cards are originated through point-of-sale partnerships with hundreds of retailers and healthcare providers that wish to serve more customers and increase their sales volumes by offering affordable and flexible financing.
In 2013, Genesis also began originating general purpose credit card receivables through direct marketing with the non-prime Milestone Gold Mastercard and expanding in 2015 with the Indigo Platinum Mastercard. In 2017, Genesis significantly grew its market share by acquiring the majority of Signet Jewelers’ credit operations. The partnership consisted of servicing over 600,000 non-prime consumer accounts and hiring approximately 650 Signet employees. Genesis is headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon, with an additional location in Akron, Ohio to support the partnership with Signet, the world’s largest diamond jewelry retailer.
Today Genesis is the nation’s leading provider of private-label credit programs for non-prime consumers. The company originates private-label credit cards through point-of-sale partnerships with top merchants, and originates non-prime Mastercard™ accounts through its Indigo and Milestone brands. These finance solutions help provide underserved consumers access to the financing they need and deserve.

Hello everyone, this card it ok for people who don’t have any credit, its high annual fee $99, don’t exist any increase credit, only $300, don’t expect more increase, because they don’t have, it’s ok to rebuild credit. I don’t recommend it to anybody..

Good Service, I feel so bad because my account is closed, but I will pay my balance, is good credit card, to get good credit, I'll be trying again.

Run

Great app thank you for the help in fixing my credit. They told what I have to do for my credit you rock the best service I have. I learned the basics for keeping my credit score in good shape

Never use them again. 41 cent late payment. Really? Why does your company practice deception to make me get a late payment for 41 cents? Why?

What they neglected to tell me was, that upon activation, I would have a 175.00 balance. I expected a 99.00 annual fee, not a 175.00 unexplained charge. When I called customer service, I was informed that "the higher your limit, the higher the annual fee" and there would be no available credit until I paid the 175.00 in full.
I just received the card today and will update this review as I gain experience with this company. SO FAR, NOT GOOD!

How do I pay my Indigo credit card bill?

You can pay your Indigo credit card bill online. You can also make a payment over the phone by calling the number on the back of your card, or mail in a check or money order. The Indigo Mastercard requires at least a minimum monthly payment of $25 or 1% of your balance, whichever is more. Accepted forms of payment include a check or money order for mailed payments, and checking accounts for online and phone payments.
To make an Indigo credit card payment online:
- Sign into your Indigo online account.
- Navigate to the “Bill Pay” tab.
- Enter the routing and account numbers for your bank account.
- Select the amount you want to pay and the date you want the payment to be made.
- Submit your payment by 5pm, Pacific Time to ensure it's credited the same day. Payments made after 5pm will be credited on the next calendar date.
It's very important to make sure your Indigo credit card payment gets credited by your due date each month. If you're mailing in your payment, be sure to allow at least seven business days for the payment to arrive. Late payments will be charged a fee of $39 and will be subject to a penalty APR of 29.9%. Late or missed payments are also damaging to your credit score, and since the Indigo credit card is intended for people with less-than-perfect credit, you don't want to make your credit situation worse.
If you have any trouble logging in to your account or paying your bill, you can call Indigo's customer service line: 1-866-946-9545. A customer service agent can help you navigate the site and online bill payment services.
What are some common Indigo Credit Card complaints?

The most common Indigo Credit Card complaints among user reviews on WalletHub are about the card's high fees, the lack of a mobile app to manage the card, and difficulty making payments. These complaints do have some merit, too.
The card's annual fee can be quite expensive, but it can also be cheap. The fee assigned depends on the applicant's creditworthiness. The complaints about the lack of an app are also legitimate, as Genesis Financial Solutions (the card's issuer) does not offer one. And when it comes to trouble making payments, that seems to only be the case for a minority of cardholders. But those aren't the only gripes that customers have with the card.
Indigo Credit Card Complaints:
- High fees
- No mobile app
- Trouble making payments
- Trouble getting fraudulent charges reversed
- Difficulty getting credit limit increases
- General dissatisfaction with customer service
- High APRs
- Delay in available credit being freed up after payments
Nevertheless, the Indigo Card receives a user rating of 3.5/5 stars across more than 2,000 reviews on WalletHub, as of July 2020. Our editors' review also gives the card a score of 3.0 / 5. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau does not have any complaints data on Genesis Financial Solutions. The BBB gives the company an “A” rating, and Genesis has been accredited since 2017.
At the end of the day, Indigo Credit Card complaints should be taken with a grain of salt. The card has a generally favorable reputation based on user reviews, and the company is reputable as shown by its BBB rating. However, it's important for you to read up on customer experiences and decide for yourself whether you think this card is worth getting before you apply.
What's the Milestone Credit Card phone number for customer service?

You could also contact the Milestone customer service online by logging in to your account, or by sending them a mail to:
Genesis FS Card Services

How do I check my Milestone Credit Card application status?

You can check your Milestone Credit Card application status by calling 1 (866) 502-6439 and using the automated system, 24/7. Or, you can request to speak to a customer service representative from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Pacific Time, seven days a week. When prompted, provide your application reference number, which should have been included in the confirmation message or e-mail you received after you submitted the application. Milestone does not offer an option to check your application status online.
You'll only need to check your Milestone Credit Card application status if you don't get a decision right when you apply. If that's the case, there may be missing or inaccurate information on your application. If you haven't received a decision by e-mail after a few days, call Milestone for a status update.
You should receive your new Milestone credit card within 14 business days after you're approved. Milestone does not allow for reconsideration if your application is denied. However, they may recommend offers for credit cards from partner banks based on your credit standing.
Where can I get the Indigo Credit Card mobile app?

You cannot get the Indigo Credit Card mobile app at this time, because there isn't any.
However, you can manage your credit card online. If you have questions about your card, contact them at (866) 946-9545.
