The Amazon Store Card credit limit is reportedly around $400 to start, according to forum posts, and some cardholders report limits as high as $5,000. Synchrony Bank does not disclose any specific Amazon Store Card credit limit information in the card’s terms, though.
For the most part, Amazon Store Card credit limits depend on each applicant’s overall creditworthiness. People with the most income and the best credit scores are generally offered the highest starting credit limits.
That said, the Amazon Store Card credit limit that you receive upon approval isn’t necessarily permanent. You can ask to get a credit limit increase by calling the Synchrony Bank customer service number on the back of your card, but it’s best not to ask more than once a year. Synchrony Bank will also evaluate your account periodically to determine whether you are eligible for a credit limit increase. Paying on time and keeping your credit utilization low are key for getting unsolicited credit line increases with Synchrony Bank.

I just got the card today since PD starts tomorrow and my limit is $50,000 so perhaps they are more generous during sales events.
Actually the lowest is at least $150. That’s what I got when I first applied 2 years ago. I was pretty angry after my bank gave me a real credit card with a limit of $5,500. However since then Amazon has increased my limit to $10,000 and they told me that’s the maximum they can give per their policy.
Started with $3,500 held there for 6 months with a 3% debt to credit ratio. I got an AMEX gold card and Chase upped my limit to $19,500- the same as my credit union's limit. Household income over $130,000
