The short answer is: it depends. Capital One Venture is a World Elite Mastercard card. However, there is one Venture card that is a Visa Signature: the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card. The main difference between these two cards is their annual fee. The Capital One Venture charges a $95 annual fee, while the Capital One Venture X has a $395 fee per year. So it really comes down to personal preference whether you choose a Visa Signature or a World Elite Mastercard.

Visa chimes in with its Signature benefits, which amongst others include:
- Concierge service
- Extended warranty
- Purchase protection
- Travel accident insurance
- Roadside dispatch
- Rental car insurance
Both cards are very good travel rewards cards, but the Capital One Venture X is aimed at high spending frequent travelers.
