Commerce Bank’s credit score requirement is 700 or higher for most cards. One exception is the Commerce Bank Secured Credit Card because it requires a credit score of at least 300 for approval, which is considered bad credit.
Keep in mind that it’s best to wait to apply for a given card until you meet the credit score requirement. You can check your credit score for free on WalletHub.
Credit Score Recommended by Commerce Bank Card
- Commerce Bank Secured Credit Card: 300 (Bad credit)
- Drury Rewards Credit Card: 700 (Good credit)
- National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Credit Card: 700 (Good credit)
- AOPA Credit Card: 700 (Good credit)
- Kansas City Zoo Credit Card: 700 (Good credit)
- Florida Nurses Association (FNA) Credit Card: 700 (Good credit)
- Commerce Bank Miles® Credit Card: 700 (Good credit)
Note that while your credit score is very important, plenty of other things will impact your chances of being approved for a Commerce Bank credit card. Some other key criteria include your income, existing debt load, recent credit inquiries, number of open accounts, housing status, and employment status.
Finally, keep in mind that lenders might use a different score when deciding whether to approve you for a financial product and approval is never guaranteed.
