No, the American Express Platinum Card® does not have the same rewards as the American Express® Gold Card. The Platinum Card® is a travel rewards card and has a higher maximum earning rate, whereas the Amex Gold Card offers better value on dining and groceries. Both cards require at least good credit for approval.
