To get a Hilton credit card referral bonus, log in to your online account on the American Express Refer a Friend page. Then, select the Hilton credit card you want to refer to people, click the “Refer Now” button, and enter the email addresses of anyone you want to refer it to. Or, you can generate your own personalized referral link to share on social media or send through email/text. Someone must apply for the card using your link and get approved for you to receive a referral bonus. After those requirements are met, Hilton credit card referral points can take up to 8 to 12 weeks to appear in your account.
Amex does not publicly disclose Hilton credit card referral bonus amounts, though some third-party sources report bonuses of 15,000 to 20,000 points per referral, up to a maximum of 80,000 points per year. There are multiple cards in the Hilton Honors family, though, and different cards may provide different bonuses. You can find out the exact bonus amount by logging in to your account.
