The Avant Card is a pretty good unsecured credit card for people with fair credit, charging an annual fee of just $39 with no initial fee or monthly fee. The card’s regular APR is 35.99%, however, so you should avoid carrying a balance from month to month with it.
The Avant Card’s starting credit limit is $300, and the issuer will periodically review your account for credit limit increases. Also, the card can help build your credit by reporting your activity to the major credit bureaus (TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax) on a monthly basis.
But if you’re in the market for a similar credit card that doesn’t have an annual fee, check out the Jasper Cash Back Mastercard® instead.
