You can apply for the Optima card only if you receive an invitation directly from American Express. The offer will include a 14-digit Optima card RSVP code, which you should provide if you apply for the card online.
Keep in mind that while an Optima card invitation carries higher chances (90%) of approval, if you apply, there’s no guarantee you’ll be approved. Credit history, income, debt and other crucial factors to credit card approval are not evaluated fully until you submit an application.
