The best tire credit card is the Firestone Credit Card because it offers 5% off your first purchase plus other limited-time deals. It also comes with a $0 annual fee and accepts people with fair credit.
Best Tire Credit Cards
A tire credit card may offer rewards, deferred interest or both. Deferred interest can be very expensive if you don’t pay what you owe in full by the end of the promotional period.
If you’re planning a big purchase that will take months to repay, you’re better off with a credit card offering a generous purchase intro APR of 0%, like the Wells Fargo Reflect® Card or the U.S. Bank Shield™ Visa® Card. Such cards offer 0% APR on purchases for up to 24 months, and they don’t use deferred interest.

I would resist a store card here. The tire store deals aren’t as good as department store cards.
You’ll probably save the most money with a cash back card like Double Cash, Active Cash or the Visa Sig card from Alliant. You can get 2%+ back with no fee.

Whatever Shane Gillis uses LOL…or Wells Fargo Active Cash (2% back + $200 SUB) / Citi Custom Cash (5% on top spend category, if tires qualify - call to confirm).
Beautiful comment. I walked in here and said, wow, what a beautiful comment.

Just don’t do deferred interest financing through the store! I made this mistake once, and it cost me a ton.

I used a tire purchase to qualify for Chase Sapphire Preferred’s bonus. I usually don’t spend enough, but this helped me get there. Worth it if you don’t need financing help.

These 3 are pretty good:
- Wells Fargo Active Cash: $200 bonus + 2% back everywhere (Discount Tire takes Visa).
- Amex Blue Cash: Check Amex Offers for 15% off Tire Agent (stack with 3% online shopping).
- Costco Visa: 0% financing + member tire discounts.
Just don't get a store card - the limits suck and you'll regret it later.
