You need a credit score of 640 or higher (fair credit or better) to get a Walmart credit card. Your income, existing debt load, recent credit inquiries, employment status, and housing status will also impact your chances.
Since all these criteria are taken into consideration, you might be able to get approved with a slightly lower credit score. But it’s best to wait to apply until you meet the Walmart Credit Card credit score requirement. You can check your credit score for free on WalletHub.

Credit score of 570 whenever I got the WM Cap one card.
That isn't true I'm sorry I got a 564 credit score and I just opened up a capital one platinum secured card at end of October and paid my bill of $39 dollars.. a few days ago I read this comment and even though I was pre approved by cap 1 I didn't wanna hurt my score. However I said to heck with it and applied with a very very thing credit file and I have charge off with bank of America and also $1900 medical debt and a charge off from self. The only account I had showing open was a credit builder card through my bank account and a 564 credit score and I got this Walmart MasterCard from cap 1 with a 1000 limit so take this for what it is... But what she said is clearly false
