No, you cannot use your Synchrony Home Credit Card anywhere you want, as you can only use it for purchases at the partner stores that participate in Synchrony's "Home Program," including Mattress Firm, Abt, Lovesac, Furniture Warehouse and more. The Synchrony Home Credit Card is a store card, which means that it is not backed by any major credit card network and only works at affiliated locations.
Where You Can Use Your Synchrony Home Credit Card
- Abt
- America’s Mattress
- American Mattress
- Bassett
- Big Sandy Superstore
- Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses
- Other partner stores participating in Synchrony's "Home Program"
Even though store credit cards have limited acceptance, they can still be a good deal for brand-loyal customers. The Synchrony Home Credit Card offers accountholders deferred-interest financing deals and has an annual fee of $0, so it might be worth getting for people who shop at partner retailers often.

It really depends on the card. If yours is a Visa or MasterCard, then you should have no problem using it.

I've had this card for a new HVAC system for awhile. I have credit available. I just spoke to customer service & they said the card is store specific, in other words I can only use credit available with vendor I purchased HVAC from. If I want to use at other retailers participating with Synchrony Home Design, I must apply for a new card with each store participating. I had red online if card has VISA or MasterCard logo, it can be used anywhere. Mine does not, customer rep said currently they do not offer Visa or MasterCard with this card. I was unaware of this policy. Wanted to share for others who have this card.
Thank you. I was attempting to use it online with one of the other Synchrony Home retailers mentioned but it kept being declined. Now i know why... What a shame.
Thank you. I was not made aware of that when I applied. I will pay this one and only purchase off and destroy the card. It's not worth it.
