You get Gold status for six months when you sign up, which will qualify you for a 5 cents/gallon discount.
You can maintain the Gold status by filling up at least 6 times in your last 3 months of promotional period. But even if you don't, you won't lose everything: reverting to the Silver status will get you 3 cents/gallon in discounts.
You could also earn:
- 10 cents/gallon off for every $50 spent at participating restaurants
- 5 cents/gallon off for every $50 spent on travel and other purchases in participating stores
