How Long It Takes for IHG Points to Post
- IHG Stays: Points post up to 5 business days after check-out.
- IHG Partners: Points may take up to 6 weeks to post, depending on the partner.
- Purchased Points: Post to the recipient's account within 72 hours of the completed transaction.
- Points Transferred to Others: Post to the recipient's account within 24 hours of the completed transaction.
- Credit Cards: Points from your card spending usually post to your IHG One Rewards account after each billing cycle ends. Initial bonuses can take up to 8 weeks to post.
If your IHG One Rewards points don’t show up, you can request a correction by contacting IHG within 12 months of the activity that earned the points.
