It’s worth getting this card because it has a $0 annual fee and it gets you 15% discount on the day you’re approved, 10% off all purchases, and 5% back on all purchases in the form of points.
Those are spectacular rewards, and they don’t even represent the full extent of the card’s perks. For example, you can also get a $10 birthday discount, $5 anniversary bonus, early access to sales and discounts, and free shipping.
If you get this card, one thing you really need to make sure not to do is carry a balance from month to month. The card’s high interest rate applies when you do that, and it can quickly wipe out your savings from rewards. Interest doesn’t apply when you pay your bill in full by the monthly due dates, though.

No, you cannot use your maurices Credit Card everywhere, unfortunately. The maurices Credit Card only works at Maurices stores and on the Maurice's website because it is a store credit card, not a general-purpose card. This means it isn't part of a major credit card network like Visa or Mastercard.

Yes, the maurices Credit Card does a hard pull on your credit report when you apply for the card. A hard pull usually results in a slight decrease in an applicant's credit score, but only for a short period of time. I got one month behind, and then the next month, the payment increased from the normal minimum of $29.00 to $47.00. I only paid $40.00 on the 4th, although it was due on the 3rd. I need to check old statements, but I'm pretty sure last month's payment was due on the 5th of the month. So now I'm behind 2 months and unable to even use the card, id really like to get rid of this card been nothing but a headache, there is no grace period, if your a day or two late. Come on, what happened to helping your neighbor.

I have been a Maurices cardholder for years! I called today to see about a late fee reversal due to my brother taking his own life and I was raising 5 kids extra kids along with my own. I honestly forgot I bought my daughters funeral dress from there and thinking my card was paid off, I received a call from and individual that I could barley understand stating my payment was late, I went on right away and made the payment that was due. They said they could not issue a reversal on a $21.00 late fee on a purchase that was $23.00. I then stated that is fine you can close the account and I will go on and pay off the rest, I was then told they would do a $15.00 reversal (not the full amount if I would consider keeping my account open). Well I have considered it: I will take the $15.00 pay off the rest and close the account. Yes I should have written it down and made my payment on time however with the given circumstances I have been in a whirled wind of emotions and burning my candle at both ends and I did not. If a card company is not willing to work with the given situation like that I do not feel they deserve my business and I will take it elsewhere.

Canceled my credit card for inactivity, yet I just used it the month before. They couldn't write to tell me they'd close it if I didn't use it, but just up and closed it. All my others have let me know ahead of time if I didn't use it, they would close my account. So now, I took a hit to my credit because of them. I don't recommend this card or Comenity Bank at all.

I called the bank to inquire about my refund from a return I made in person at the Abilene Maurice Store. At the time, the manager said that my refund was applied to my credit card, which is the Maurice Credit Card. Three weeks later, I noticed that the refund was never completed. I called the store, and they said that the refund was completed and I needed to call customer service. I called customer service, and they opened an investigation. After the investigation, they sent a letter stating that the refund was applied to a VISA credit card. The most interesting part is that I do not have a VISA credit card. I am so unhappy with Maurice Store for being negligent with credit returns and for mistakenly sending customer money to an unknown recipient. I felt the need to write this review to warn other customers from falling into the same situation. Now, I have spent countless hours (time that I do not have) and I have to follow up on this issue until I get my money back. Once completed, I am closing all credit cards that I have with Comenity Bank. Never in my life have I had such an issue like this.

Never received the physical card. Called to verify the address and had another card sent. That card also never arrived. Great offer for opening the card, but would never carry a balance due to the awful APR!

I would give negative stars if I could. Horrible customer service. Paid the card off in full and miraculously owe money still, even though I haven't used the card for months prior to paying it off. Will never recommend this card to anyone.

Worst card and customer service. Don’t do it! Late fees constantly. Have to pay before 5pm on due date or you get charged the late fee. I have never had a card do that and they never told me that.

Horrible customer service on the phone. Charged me twice for a fee in which I should have never been charged for. The local store is amazing and the workers are always helpful.
