To activate your Sears Credit Card, call (800) 815-7701 or go to the Citibank activation website. You can also activate a Sears Credit Card using the Citibank mobile app.
Your new Sears Credit Card will be ready to make purchases in just a few moments, no matter which activation method you use. Citibank does not have a certain time limit within which you need to activate your card, but it’s best to do it as soon as possible.
How to Activate a Sears Credit Card
- By phone: Call (800) 815-7701 or the number on the sticker attached to the front of the card. Verify your personal information (e.g. Social Security number, card number, or phone number associated with your application) to activate your Sears Credit Card.
- On the website: Log in to your online account (or create an account if you don’t already have one) and find the activation page. Enter any required security information, including your Sears Credit Card number, the 3-digit security code on the back of the card, the last 4 digits of your Social Security number, and your birthdate. Activate your Sears Credit Card as instructed.
Your new Sears Credit Card will be available for purchases immediately after activation. If you have any trouble activating your card, customer service can always help you out. You can call them at (800) 815-7701.
