No, the Best Buy® Credit Card does not offer extended warranty protection. The same goes for the Best Buy Store Card, too. However, Best Buy offers its own protection plan that customers can sign up for. This way, they’re covered when a manufacturer warranty ends. But this will not be free of charge, unlike extended warranty benefits offered through credit cards.
Alternative Credit Card Option
If extended warranty is important to you, you should consider getting the Amazon Credit Card. This card’s extended warranty adds up to one year to U.S. manufacturers’ warranties of 3 years or less.
In addition, this card offers 1 - 5 points per $1 spent on purchases. The Amazon Credit Card’s annual fee is $0 and it requires at least good credit for approval.
