The Capital One Savor extended warranty benefit doubles the existing warranty on items purchased with the Savor Card, up to a maximum of 24 months. A 6-month warranty could become 12 months and a 12-month warranty could grow to 24 months, for example. The benefit pays for the cost to repair, replace or reimburse the original price of the item, whichever is cheapest. The maximum coverage is $10,000 per item. Coverage also applies to items bought with Capital One Savor rewards rather than charged to the card.
There are several exceptions to the types of items and situations that are covered, though, so be sure to read your Savor benefits guide for the full details. To file a claim, you’ll need to report the item’s failure within 60 days after it happens and return your completed claim form and supporting documents within 180 days.
