The Credit One credit score requirement ranges from 300 to 700, depending on the card. That means people with bad to good credit, are eligible to be approved for a Credit One credit card.
If your credit score is below the threshold needed for a Credit One credit card, it’s best to wait to apply until you meet the credit score requirement. You can check your credit score for free on WalletHub.
Credit Score Recommended by Credit One Card
- Credit One Bank® Secured Card: 300 (Bad credit)
- Credit One Bank® Platinum Rewards Visa® with No Annual Fee: 700 (Good credit)
- Credit One Bank® Platinum Visa® for Rebuilding Credit: 500 (Bad credit)
- Credit One Bank® Platinum Visa®: 640 (Fair credit)
- Credit One Bank® Platinum X5 Visa Signature® Card: 640 (Fair credit)
- Credit One Bank® Premier American Express® Card: 640 (Fair credit)
- Credit One Bank® Wander® American Express® Card with Dining, Gas & Travel Rewards: 640 (Fair credit)
Note that while your credit score is very important, plenty of other things will impact your chances of being approved for a Credit One card. Some other key criteria include your income, existing debt load, recent credit inquiries, number of open accounts, housing status, and employment status, among others.
Keep in mind that lenders might use a different score when deciding whether to approve you for a financial product, so approval is never guaranteed.
