You may be able to go over your Indigo Credit Card credit limit if the issuer authorizes the transaction, but it can be costly and it is not guaranteed. According to the card’s terms, the issuer may still decline any transaction that would exceed your limit, even if you’ve agreed to allow over-limit charges. To check your specific account’s eligibility, call customer service at (800) 353-5920.
If an over-limit transaction is approved, the overlimit fee is:
- $30 if you haven’t been charged an over-limit fee in any of the prior six billing cycles
- $41 if you have been charged an overlimit fee within the past six billing cycles
The issuer will only charge you one over-limit fee per billing cycle, even if you go over your credit limit multiple times in the same billing cycle. However, if your new balance remains over your limit by the payment due date, you could be charged up to two additional overlimit fees in future billing cycles.

You can go over your Indigo Platinum credit limit by making a purchase that exceeds your available credit.
Take into account that the Indigo Platinum has a $38 over-limit fee. Therefore exceeding its modest credit limit is going to be expensive, so try avoiding that.
The amount you can go over your credit limit is not disclosed by the issuer.
