Upgrading to Delta One doesn’t have a set price, as the cost depends on factors such as route, fare class and availability. Long-haul international flights (e.g., U.S. to Europe or Asia) will have the highest upgrade costs due to the extended service, lie-flat seats, and premium amenities.
How to Check Upgrade Costs for Your Delta Flight
- Log in to your Delta SkyMiles account.
- Go to the “My Trips” section in the menu.
- Enter your confirmation number, credit/debit card number, or ticket number, along with your first and last name.
- Look for an “Upgrade” or “Select Seats” option. If a Delta One upgrade is available—either for cash or miles—you’ll usually see it there.
Keep in mind that Basic Economy tickets (Fare Class “E”) aren’t eligible for any upgrades, including to Delta One. Most Main Cabin fares, however, are usually upgrade-eligible—either with miles or cash, depending on availability.
