You can purchase Spirit points in increments of 1,000 through their website by selecting the "Buy Points" option. The cost works out to 2.68 cents per point, and you can redeem them for an average value of 1.07 cents per point.
You can buy a minimum of 1,000 points and up to 60,000 points per per transaction with Spirit.
How to Buy Spirit Points
- Visit the Spirit buy points website and log in to your Free Spirit account.
- Select the “Buy Points” option.
- Select the number of Free Spirit points you want in increments of 1,000 and click “Buy points.”
- Enter your payment information and complete the purchase. Points will be available within 72 hours.
In addition to booking award flights, you can redeem your Spirit points for select partner products and services.
Is It Worth It to Buy Spirit Points?
Buying Spirit points is not worth the cost, as the points usually cost more than they’re worth when you redeem them. However, if you only need a few more points for your redemption, buying points may be worth it to you.
