I do a lot of traveling so this card would benefit me greatly. It also would not be hard at all to get to 1000 dollars. Especially with in three months. The only thing that bugs me is the annual fee and transaction fee. That would hurt me in the long run because right now i am using a card that is cheaper for me to use. Right now is not a time for me to raise my budget fees.

We do a lot of travelling and the Marriott Credit Card is perfect for that. There's a lot of great initial rewards plus continuing benefits which really add up over time. Throw quick emergency card replacement and other-travel related benefits and you not only have a card that's great to travel with but can be relied upon in an emergency.
The interest rate is not only low but fixed as well which is a great plus compared to a lot of cards. Compare to a contemporary Mastercard or Discover which might have good interest but it'll balloon up and down.
This is a great card not only for travel but general use as well. You'll be hard pressed to beat it's features, benefits, and low interest rate.

At first glance, the Marriott Rewards Credit Card seems like an excellent card to have. The 30,000 bonus points after $1,000 spent in your first 3 months plus the additional 2 free night stay is very tempting. But I don't think I will apply for this card, simply because the annual fee and the variable rate are both a real turn off. The Capitol One card I'm looking at has no annual fee and a fixed rate at 20.9 percent.

I have this credit card and am mostly happy with it. When I got my card I got the Receive 30,000 bonus points after $1,000 spent in your first 3 months from your account opening offer along with the 2 free night stays upon account approval. I was able to use these free nights when attending my favorite science fiction convention which I loved. The 3 points per $1 spent at Marriott is a nice deal. I don't actually travel much beyond my various con forays. The 1/$1 for all purchases is pretty standard. I wasn't overly impressed with the APR and whatever you do, don't end up with the penalty APR. I'd prefer not paying an annual fee but this is pretty standard for rewards cards. I'd recommend this card for folks who travel and stay at Marriotts at least 3 or 4 times a year if not more.

This is a great reward program. The incentives are nice, and the amount of points per dollar is very attractive. And with no limit on earning or redeeming points it makes it a go to card. The rates and fees seem to be average with other credit cards, but the anal fee seems to be a littler higher than some other cards. In general it seems like it would be a good card for some one who travels a lot and uses Marriott, but if you do not plan to travel often there may be other options that don't have such a large fee attached to them.

I'll be honest, some of the incentives are pretty nice, like the 6 free nights. The bonus points are a nice gesture too, but all in all it's nothing special. I know the hilton rewards credit card offers the same incentives with increased points (which are more valuable), and a full week of free nights, immediately upon approval. This card is good, and I'm not saying don't buy it, but it isn't the best.

The Mariott Rewards Credit Card is a great credit card. The bonus for spending $1000 in the first three months is virtually unbeatable. The rewards benefits are great too, especially if you are a frequent traveler or are staying at hotels often. This card is also widely accepted at almost every location. While these are great, there are some downsides like a high APR, so be sure to be responsible when using this card. Also, an annual fee kicks in after the first year, so if you do not like the card or you are not using it to take advantage of the bonuses; cancel it!

The Marriott Rewards card sounds like a very good deal to me, but it seems like a card for a big spender. I currently use a Capital One credit card for all my needs and it suits them perfectly. The Marriott card would be very good for someone who travels a lot and wants rewards for extended stays, but the APR is a little high to use as an everyday spending card. The late fee is pretty low on your payments which would be good if you are a forgetful person.

The Marriott Rewards card sounds appealing, but I am skeptical. The max penalty APR is VERY high, not to mention that after your first year there is a $45 annual fee. I would be worried signing up for this card. I do not have any hotel rewards credit cards, but I've heard great things about the Citi Hilton Honors card. It has no Annual Fee and a similar APR. The rewards sound just as good, if not better than the Marriott card. I am currently looking for a credit card with rewards similar to this since I travel so frequently, and in my research so far I believe I would choose the Hilton card. The Marriott card would be as competitive if it wasn't for that annual fee and high APR.

I currently use a Capital One card but because of my work I have to travel a lot. The Marriott Reward Credit Card is so much better when my Capital One credit card. There are so many bonuses for the business person who travels a lot. All the extra free nights you can get and plus you can use it in foreign hotels. The penalties are a little high but my other credit card has higher penalties and less rewards. Over roll The Marriott Reward Credit Card is a very good card for a business professional who travels a lot or people who like traveling.
