Cancelled less than a year later. Was great at first, they approved me for 500 limit with fair credit, than gave an increase to 700 after a few months and my credit going from fair to good, But they changed interest rates, late fees (which I never got) and minimum payment after 2 weeks. During the pandemic I had to use some other cards for the month so my score dropped back into fair. I
paid them all off the next month but received a notice saying they dropped my limit down to 100! Because my score went down 16 points the month before, ummm what?? I never missed a payment, paid my entire balance and when I got the notice my score had gone up 40 points by then. Their loss of a good customer. But I can’t believe they wouldn’t even wait an extra month to see how your score changed after an economic crash. And lowered my limit by $600 when my score drop was still HIGHER than what I originally applied with. Ridiculous.… show more

I got a new card in the mail that I needed to activate. Called the number and got a high pressure sales pitch about signing up for Account Assure. I kept saying I didn't need it and she kept pushing and acted like she was signing me up anyway. Finally I said, lady I don't buy that much lingerie that I need Account Assure and she finally let it go. I am cancelling the card

They never sent me a card. I went to the store and asked for it 3 times. Waited in the mail and never got it. Due to no card, i couldnt pay my bills on time. The late fees kept adding on and i ended up having a bad credit score due to it

I went online to pay my account balance which was around $68. Payment went through and yet I checked my credit score a few weeks later and my account balance was now $101 which was $68 + a late fee. When I call customer service they have an automated system that makes it nearly impossible to reach anyone. It took 20 minutes for me to just reach merchandising for them to act annoyed and finally
transfer me to the department I needed. The lady then tells me my payment was received however it was one day late. So instead of reporting my $68 payment to my credit report they tagged on a late fee and reported my balance at $101 Instead of $33 which was my actual account balance at that point dropping my score. I just find that odd mainly because I paid directly through their account website and there was no late fee added on then. They also never sent my account balance so had I not called when I did I would have been charged ANOTHER late fee thinking my account was up to date. These people are scammers!… show more

After figuring that out.... well... it’s gonna take years to fix my credit. So every now and again I’ll try to build it up by buying from Victoria’s Secret. Which honestly. I’m over them. My recent purchase has just been sketchy. My availability has subtracted my orders total. But I can’t make a payment. You have less than 24 hours to make a payment. The best part is. I can’t... get in touch... with a HUMAN. Meanwhile I’ll just waste my breath as my credit continues to crumble for these overpriced panties that I never really wanted in the first place. This is a terrible card, they charge you unfairly constantly. I was late a little bit for payment and they right of way effected my credit score. I paid twice more $ and asked them to remove my late fees from my credit score - they rejected and STILL charging interest fees. Never open this card again. They are liars.

I disagree with how just close the account without any warning but yet you send message that its closed. Unaware that possible now I have to reapply run credit again bring score down just reapply just great! Notice would of been nice try use my card and was not able thanks for heads up. Send messages for everything else but had I known would use it.

They are worthless. Zero customer service. They prefer to cancel your card if you miss payment by 2 hours. They profit on late payment fees. No one should shop there! I am a faithful customer, been with them for over five years and don't miss payments and i missed one by couple ours and i get penalized for it. Was on the phone with customer service for over 30 minutes and they still didn't waive
my late fee! I would give them less than a star if there's that option!… show more

I liked the points system which adds to discounts, but wasn’t satisfied with their late fee rules . They charge you a late fee for payment made on the due date if it’s past 8:00 pm. Their Interest rate is a little higher than others .

this card is really awful. while the benefit might be attractive but the online account is super not user friendly without auto-payment option so you literally have to remember to login to the website every month to pay your balance. If you forget to do that for any month the late fee will be waiting for you in the next statement. What's more, there is no grace period or forgiveness for anything even if you
call their customer care. Been a cardholder for 3 year and just got charged for $30 late fee because I pick the wrong date of payment that is 2 days past the due. I am cancelling my card today.… show more

Do not sign up for this card! You will be penalized for their mistakes! I just got a call informing me that I was 2 months past due. I didn't remember ever seeing a statement or the card I signed up for, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt (my mistake). They offered to remove one of the late fees so I paid it. They I spoke to customer service to cancel the
card and when I went over my information with them I found out that they had the wrong address (they had "court" instead of "street"). So that means my statements and my new card got delivered to someone else. Their fault, right? Apparently not, the customer service supervisor advised me that it was MY responsibility to notice that the statements weren't coming in and I had to call them to find out why. They wouldn't reverse the other late fee. She also had the nerve to tell me she was doing me a favor by erasing the late payment on my credit report!!! So basically I had to pay a late fee for a card that I signed up for to get the discount in the store which I had to pay a late fee because Victoria Secret got my address wrong (so much for my discount). It makes me wonder... It seems convenient that an error on their part made them money in late fees. I wonder how often the "accidentally" get the address wrong.… show more

I do t like the way they do customer service. It seem like a lot of “clients” cheating on them so everything is client fault! I own them a few cent because I miss read the payment amount , assuming I paid off. I wouldn't even give this one star. I applied for this card years ago. I made a couple purchases to build my credit and haven't used the card in over a year. I've been paying twice my monthly payment to get my balance lower and my credit limit was $1250. I logged into my account and saw that my new credit limit is now $500!! I called and they said when they report to the
credit bureau they receive an update on the customers current status and will lower or decline the limit if they feel they are at risk. So what they're telling me is they don't even review if you've been a good customer and paid on time. They go by what the credit bureau reports. I've had my credit stolen amongst other things that have caused hell. The entire reason I got this card was to help my credit and keep my credit usage low. Now it looks like I've maxed out my card. I was initial happy with the card but of not used often and if you use your other cards more than there’s they will drop your credit line in a heartbeat. I was I. The FL area during the big hurricanes and we got stuck and had to stay in a hotel for a week and a half. So of course my utilization increased a bit. And next thing I known I get a letter

Won’t give me a CLI after about a year! 150$ limit while my other cards are all around 1,500$. Credit is ~640. Every time I want to shop there I have to make sure i don’t go over 150$ which is ridiculous. My utilization ends up really high and they only report to credit bureaus once a month. So if I happened to shop and spend 100$ now my utilization is high for the next

In August I finished paying my card off, that includes the 4 late fees they charged me with after I had already submitted my payment. So for the month of September I wasn’t charged, I checked at least 5 times and it said i owed nothing. So today I got an email saying that I owe $32.00 on October 13. Which makes no sense to me. So now I’m trying to figure this out and
I am 65%positive I’ll have to pay it because Victoria secret is a scam. Over all I spent 40$ on actual products from them, but I paid around $200 I’m all on the late fees. just like everyone says they slap you with late fees even when your payment was made on time, and just random 3 and 4$ finance charges, in between purchased, when there's no purchases made. How are you charging me for doing nothing?! I know which card I won't be using after I pay it off this month.. We spend enough on their products to not be getting raped for using our cards.

In 2018 this is the only company that I deal with who doesn't offer automatic debits from your bank account each month. I have held an account with them for 10 years and they would not refund a late fee because I had a late fee refunded 12 months ago. I have multiple credit cards with multiple banks and this is the only one that doesn't offer automatic payment options.

I have closed my account over the phone twice now and I’m still receiving bills. I paid the exact amount due and it was sent back. It’s so hard to reach the company that it feels like a scam. My credit went down tremendously after I signed up for this card. I have called customer service and I’m not even given the option to talk to a real person.

Unclear billing practices. They charge late fees after the payment was made. A late fee on top of a late fee that i was not aware of. I called to make a payment at which point i believed all was cleared. However the next month i receive a statement with late fee plus interest, which i though was a mistake. When i had time to call i'm billed for $58 for 2 late fees, because

I wish I could give them zero stars. Comenity Bank, that issues the VS card, is absolutely horrible! I've had my card for 3 years. My credit limit was $6,000. My balance was around $800. I got a letter in the mail saying they lowered my credit limit to $1000! I was told it was because of info in my credit report. I check my credit monthly and knew there was nothing in my credit
report to warrant that. So, I made a $500 payment to lower my balance because what they did would cause my credit score to drop since it would really raise my credit card utilization. The day after I made that large payment, they closed my account! When I called to ask why, they said it was because I had 3 new inquires on my credit report. I just bought a new car and the dealership sent my application to 3 lenders to get me the best rate! I made my payment on time with them every single month for 3 years and this is how they treat me. I called customer service, the rep was confused as he could see I had no missed payments which is typically what makes them decrease your credit limit. I was told I should receive a letter in the mail, I checked the mail while on hold and found a letter from them which states my credit limit will remain at 370. I asked
the rep how are they showing a credit limit lower that’s in the letter they themselves told me to watch out for. I was told I have to write and mail a letter, no one there can answer that. likely be rewarded with a nice CLI at about month #6. I gave it three stars for a few reasons- 1) because you earn 0 points at Bath & Body Works even though the card can be used there 2) many of the VS or PINK coupons they mail you are often restrictive, meaning they can\'t be used with special offers online, or other deep discount coupons (20% or more). Many can\'t be stacked online so be mindful of that. In store however, you have a bit more flexibility so it\'s worth a try if you find you can\'t use one online. Lastly 3) The quality of Victoria\'s Secret merchandise has changed dramatically over the years and the stores are usually a mess and low or out of stock of many products. If I could rate zero, I would. I have had a VS card for over 10 years, back when this card was through another bank (National City or Citi bank) cant remember exactly. However, I never had issues until recently. Since the change over to the new bank. Comenity are some money hungry thieves. I paid my balance in full in February, like 2 days late yes. the minimum purchase balance which I paid in full. That is the last time I logged in because I thought I paid my balance in full. The last statement was for January, and have not received any statements or communication since my January statement. Then all of a sudden today I get and email with statement notification saying I owe $50+. I thought someone was using my card and charged that amount since I have not used my card since December!! I don’t use it that often. When I logged on, I saw charges for finance charges and rediculous late fees for a balance that I paid in full last month. I called the bank and of course when I informed them that I am not paying the late fees because I paid my balance and plus I had not received a statement since January.... they transferred me to 2-3 people which I had to explain my problem over and over. Needless to say they claim I paid late... i was like how can you charge a late fee on top of a late fee?? Not to mention when I paid my balance off, there was no late fees. She said it takes a few days to add on late fees, and I said that is not my problem.. im not paying the rediculous fees. Because I kept arguing, they still only charged me $10 which I paid and then closed my credit card account. It is sad... i love VS but I don’t like the money making scheme of this new credit card bank. I will miss the rewards but those haven’t been sent like they should with the new bank, they skipped my birthday the last couple years. Anyway I will be paying cash from now on. I wish VS had a rewards program like many stores, that aren’t credit card related. Don’t get this card... they just want your money. I think they tack on fees for those people who don’t use their card often, just to make money on us. Unfortunately Maurices credit card is also with this same bank. Received a late charge but they would not take it off over the phone. Went in the store again to pay entire balance, although I disagreed I owed anything at all since I paid the day it was due in the store but they did not "process it the
same day" like I had control over that. Paid the balance a week before it was due, and called and closed the account. Now I get a new bill for $1! Called and they said the account was closed but they interest was still accruing before I paid the balance in full. So I still owe although I paid the balance in full. They will get my $1.01 payment and have to refund the penny! I will never shop here again either. This is the racket the credit cards run if you ever take cash from a card. I did that once 20 years ago and never again. Lesson learned for Victoria Secret/Pink too!!!!

Terrible card and customer service. Watch out for erroneous late fees and minimal charge fees!!!! Will never use this card again. Account closed. I have excellent credit (790) and have never been late with any credit card payment. Victoria's Secret charged me two months in a row late fees ($56.00) and when I called to inquire the CS was less than helpful. It is a loss for them.

I love my VS card!!! The only reason why some people would have a bad experience is because they don't pay or can't handle their finances. I have a pretty high balance on my card and don't mind paying the minimum it is worth all the perks and bonuses. I became a Forever Angel after only 3 months and I've been getting so many freebies! Because of the early access and thanks to the coupons
and most recently the semi-annual sale I have a huge collection of both VS and PINK thanks to the rewards my sister has been able to benefit from my card as well and we really do love it.… show more
