What's Your Rating?
I had been with Country Financial ever since it was called Country Companies, which makes it almost 40 years, for my home, rental units, and my cars. I was never late that I remember and always made one payment for the entire term. They canceled my policy over $20.00. No calls from my agent; they say they sent the bill in the mail. I tried calling the supervisors a few times and left several messages. I never got a call back. If I could, I would give a negative 5-star rating.
They also put a claim on my car insurance record just for calling in and asking questions, so that when I went to other insurance companies, I would have to pay higher premiums. Completely illegal! I have had so much frustration with Country Companies. The country is not behind me; they are a pain in the backside. Turn around and run.

Why COUNTRY Financial Offers a Good Student Discount
Young drivers are usually quite expensive to insure since they lack driving experience. However, COUNTRY Financial offers a good student discount because having good grades shows the insurer that you are responsible off the road, meaning you're more likely to be responsible in the driver's seat as well.
COUNTRY Financial good student discounts vary by state, but it's always worth the effort of checking to see if they are available in your location. To learn more, check out our editor's review of Country Financial.
