No, purchases at Walmart are not eligible for the 2% cashback on a USAA® Cashback Rewards Plus American Express® Card. You only earn 2% on grocery qualifying purchases at supermarkets. Walmart is considered a discount store and is not included in this category. Other notable stores excluded are Costco and Sam’s Club.
For the 2% cash back rewards, qualifying purchases must be made only at merchants identified as primarily selling non-wholesale groceries, such as neighborhood grocery stores and supermarkets.
