Yes, The Citi Diamond Preferred was discontinued in late 2018. However, Citibank resumed accepting applications for a new version of the card less than a year later.
The current Citi Diamond Preferred card is a balance transfer credit card, as it has an introductory APR of 0% for 21 months on balance transfers. Once this introductory period expires, any remaining balance is subject to the card’s regular APR of 16.49% - 27.24% (V).
It is worth noting that the Citi Diamond Preferred card also offers an introductory purchase APR offer of 0% for 12 months.
