To activate your Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express Card, call the activation number that came with your card or complete the process online via American Express' website. American Express requires you to activate your new card within 45 days, so don't postpone activation for too long.
How to Activate Your Gold Delta SkyMiles Business Credit Card
- By phone: Call the activation number that came with your card. Verify your personal information (e.g., Social Security number, card number, or the phone number associated with the application) to activate your Gold Delta SkyMiles Business Credit Card.
- On the website: Log in to your American Express account (or create an account if you don't already have one) and navigate to the activation page. Then, enter any requested security information and activate your Gold Delta SkyMiles Business Credit Card as instructed.
- Via the mobile app: Log in to the American Express mobile app using the same credentials that you'd use to log in online. Tap the credit card activation button, then enter any security information that's requested on the following page.
You will be able to make purchases with your new Gold Delta SkyMiles Business Credit Card immediately after you’ve activated it. If you have any trouble activating your card, American Express customer service can always help you out. You can give them a call at the number on the back of your card.
